"I want to make Air-India an airline of international standards and because of you idiots we get a bad name! If there is a delay, inform the bloody passengers."

Source: India's Minister for Civil Aviation, Praful Patel, in a phone call to the general manager of Air India. Patel, on his way to Washington to sign an Open Skies agreement with Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, was kept waiting along with the rest of the passengers on the flight to the US for more than three hours, before finally grabbing a phone and reading the hapless executive the riot act.
