Level 5 FTD Will Include Garmin G1000 Avionics

Flight Simulator manufacturer Frasca International has received an order for a Cessna 172S Flight Training Device (FTD) from Korea Aerospace University (KAU) Department of Aeronautical Science & Flight Operations, located in Goyang, South Korea.

The Level 5 FTD will include NAVIII Garmin G1000 avionics, Frasca TruVision visual system with three channel projected display system and Simplicity Instructor Operator Station. KAU is a repeat customer of Frasca's and currently uses a Mentor C172 AATD which was delivered in 2017 and a C172 FTD delivered in 2015.

KAU is a private university located in Goyang, South Korea. It is the only university in Korea specializing in Aviation and Aerospace. The university encompasses most of the aerospace fields including Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Air Transportation and Logistics, Aeronautical Science & Flight Operation, and Air and Space Law.

KAU received AABI (Aviation Accreditation Board International) qualification, for flight education, aviation management, air traffic management, and air transportation systems in 2007.
