Playboy Model Sues Airline Over Cockpit Selfies

Pilot And Copilot Have Been Fired From Aerolineas Argentinas

First, there were the cockpit selfies of Playboy model Victoria Xipolitakis posing with the pilot and copilot of an Aerolineas Argentinas airplane reportedly taken during takeoff and landing ... with at least one showing the model touching the airliner's controls. 

The two pilots were fired by the airline and face criminal charges, and the model was banned from flying on the airline for five years. After the images went viral on the Internet, several passengers sued the airline saying the situation put their lives in danger. 

But Xipolitakis is absolving herself of all responsibility for the incident. Fox Latino reports that she is suing the airline for not preventing her from being photographed in the cockpit of the airline, notably the fired flight crew, and accuses them with sexual harassment.

In an interview with Radio Vorterix, Xipolitakis' attorney Fernando Burlando said that the model was a "victim of a situation of sexual harassment and abuse. When a woman is molested she has no direct, effective way to stop it; for example, to stop them from fondling her when they fasten her seat belt.”

Xipolitakis had initially apologized for the incident, and taken down the photos from Twitter. Apparently now she thinks she's due some compensation for her role in the incident.
