The event is free to attend, and pre-registration is not required.

The Illinois Ultralight Light Plane Safety Seminar is back at the Illinois Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The safety seminar will cover a broad range of subjects. A seminar will be presented on the Rotax 582 and 912 engines. There will also be sessions on how safety impacts aviation regulations and making your communications equipment work. The day will conclude with a session on the new sport pilot regulations.

Registration for the event will be from 0800-0900, with the seminar sessions beginning promptly at 0900. Arrive early for viewing the exhibits, since the featured seminar sessions will consume a major portion of the day. The program will conclude around 1600.
