Diamond Aircraft Finishes DA42 Fleet Delivery

Signs Contract For Additional Six DA40 NG Aircraft To CAE

Diamond Aircraft announced the successful completion of deliveries to flight training provider CAE of the seventh and final DA42-VI aircraft, to close out an order made by CAE in 2024. Beyond that, CAE signed another contract for an additional six Diamond DA40 NG aircraft.

The announcement was made at the Aero Friedrichshafen Air Show.

Diamond’s DA40 and DA42 series aircraft are among the most popular flight training aircraft globally, and the aircraft delivered to CAE sported the bespoke CAE paint scheme. They will be based at CAE’s Bremen Flight Training Center in Germany.

The DA40 NG aircraft will serve as the upgrade for CAE’s fleet in Montpellier, France, to ensure the students at that facility will also benefit from the latest advancements to enhance their flight training experience.

Jane Wang, Director for Sales, Marketing, and Flight Operations at Diamond Aircraft Austria said, “We are honoured that CAE has chosen to invest in Diamond Aircraft for its renowned flight training programs. CAE have operated Diamond aircraft in their flight schools for some time.

"That they’ve chosen to upgrade their fleet is testament to the DA40 and DA42 series’ efficiency, safety, and technological advancement – in short, their perfect suitability for professional flight training.”
