Oh Well...
As you might have
guessed from the way we phrased some of the verbiage associated
with our earlier story on the announced sale of
Tiger Aircraft LLC (the company that did produce the
Tiger for a number of years before pretty much running out of money
last year), the attempted sale of the AG-5B Tiger series did run
into issues. Some of those issues are described in the
statement (below) we just received from Tiger Aircraft
Corporation's (the new Florida company that had been formed to
produce the AG-5B Tiger) CEO and Chairman Sam Miller.
This is not the last we're going to hear on this story as Miller
claims that a number of civil and criminal(!) issues are going to
be explored in the not too distant future... Stay tuned.
Official TAC Statement: 08.16.06
On August 16, 2006, Tiger Aircraft LLC breached the sale
agreement with TAC on the AG-5B. As such, TAC will not enter into
production of this aircraft and is no longer available under the TC
with significant loss to the creditors. Tiger Aircraft Corporation
was formed in August 2006 to build both piston and jet aircraft and
was not the fake Tiger Aircraft Corporation that issued sale
receipts to TALLC customers. If you are such a customer, please
contact your local governmental agencies or attorney for details
related to your specific rights.
Tiger Aircraft
Corporation (the real one) will be introducing an aircraft that
will be a single engine piston that will meet or exceed the AG-5B
shortly. As negotiations are underway in its acquisition of a
suitable pilots airplane. We tried to salvage this company, yet the
corruption was too intense between Teleflex, Yao Hwa Glass, and
other members of TALLC after the same individuals seized assets
already pledged under the UCC agreement costing TAC millions of
dollars. Now it is up to the US Government to straighten out these
corrupt companies.
In the meantime, TAC will continue with its current plans to
build experimental and production aircraft. While aircraft
manufacturing is not a high profit business, it is the love of
flight that is shared and TAC is here to share what flying used to
be about.
