Adam Aircraft Appoints New US Dealer

Columbia Aircraft Sales Gets The Nod

On Tuesday, Adam Aircraft announced Columbia Aircraft Sales, Inc. of Groton (CT) as the factory authorized dealer for Adam Aircraft products in the northeastern United States. This territory includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. As part of this relationship, Columbia Air Services, Inc. will be a factory authorized service center for the corresponding territory.

"Our objective at Adam Aircraft is to manufacture advanced aircraft and deliver them into the finest support structure possible for our customers," said Rick Adam, CEO of Adam Aircraft. "To that end, we are very pleased to have Columbia representing Adam Aircraft in the Northeastern United States. They have a long history of successful operation and are very well respected by their customers."

Art Maurice and Harry Holt, co-owners of Columbia Aircraft Sales and Columbia Air Services were eager to comment. "This is a very exciting relationship for the Columbia group of companies. The philosophies and values of the two organizations are an exceptionally good fit," said Mr. Maurice. "Rick Adam has created a well oiled and focused organization. His enthusiasm and commitment to excellence are contagious," added Mr. Holt.

Adam claims Columbia Air Services' experience in maintaining general aviation aircraft is a key component to the dealer relationship. "Columbia Air Services, Inc. has been maintaining complex turbine and piston powered aircraft for more than 25 years. We have an impeccable safety record, and offer the highest quality service available anywhere. Years of technical mastery afford us the luxury of making customer support our number one priority. Knowing how Adam shares these values, we are extremely pleased to be representing their products," said Jim Celentano, Director of Maintenance for Columbia Air Service.

Adam Aircraft's A500 twin-piston aircraft is reportedly approaching a long-promised and much-delayed FAA certification and the new A700 AdamJet is currently undergoing initial flight test.
