The International Bureau Of Aviation Expands Aircraft Maintenance Division

Appoints Robert Bryant Manager – Technical Projects

The The International Bureau Of Aviation (IBA) has appointed Robert Bryant as Manager – Technical Projects. IBA says Bryant brings with him a huge wealth and breadth of experience to further strengthen the Company’s technical team.

Robert’s career in aviation spans more than 45 years, most recently having held the position of Vice President at SpiceJet in India.  He has also held senior positions at a number of other start-up ventures including Air Astana and Al Salam Aircraft Company, as well as working with legacy carriers such as British Airways and Saudia.

“Robert’s experience is an excellent fit with the project work we carry out at IBA.  He will be an asset to us and our clients” commented Phil Seymour, President and COO at the IBA Group.

In particular IBA has seen demand for expert witness testimony in the field of aircraft maintenance increase 400% over the last two years. This is often related to airline and MRO agreement disputes, or lessor and lessee disputes regarding aircraft delivery and redelivery processes. "The provision by IBA of airline and MRO ratings is also increasing so it is important that we add experience to our team” continues Phil.  “This can only be performed with detailed analytical processes combined with practical and pragmatic experience.”

Robert adds “I look forward to providing support and advice to IBA’s diverse clientele on all aircraft maintenance matters from aircraft delivery and redelivery ventures and issues, CAMO support, through to maintenance cost benchmarking.”
