Pentastar Aviation Named Authorized Installer For Securaplane CMX-HD Camera

System Approved For Installation On Multiple Gulfstream Aircraft

Pentastar Aviation has been named an authorized installer for the recently obtained Securaplane Technologies Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for CMX-HD camera system on Gulfstream GIV-X and GV-SP aircraft.

The CMX-HD camera system from Securaplane offers multiple functions for aircraft, including in-flight entertainment, situational awareness, and gear position viewing. Available for installation on the vertical fin and fuselage belly, the camera’s lightweight and aerodynamic design incorporates a heated sapphire glass window for exceptional imaging performance and has been tested to ensure it can withstand all of the environmental conditions airplanes face.

“The CMX-HD camera system developed by Securaplane, allows our customer's high definition views during all phases of flight,” said Jesse Beard, Pentastar Aviation’s Avionics and Engineering Manager. “It provides an enhanced visual experience for our clients and allows us to conduct the modification in a timely manner.”

Securaplane chose Pentastar’s engineering team to develop the STC for the CMX HD camera system due to their decades of experience providing industry-leading avionics system integration design, STC development, service and maintenance.

“Pentastar’s skilled and professional avionics, engineering, maintenance, and contracts team performed flawlessly throughout their effort,” said Martin VanWinkle, STC Program Manager of Securaplane Technologies. “Their seamless relationship with the FAA, with their installation aircraft customer and with the cabin management system OEM was evident throughout the process.”

Pentastar is committed to delivering the highest standards of safety and service excellence to their customers. The team delivers unmatched quality, technology, and superior customer service with meticulous attention to detail while working with some of the most sophisticated systems available in the market today.
