ANN’s new production company, TANSTAAFL, Ltd., is just starting the official public campaign for our first major long-form documentary... and we’re starting with one of the most important, if not infamous, stories in the aviation world.

In 1992, the FAA chose Bob as a target to make their case for pilot age limitations and revoked his medical certificate with trumped up charges that he lacked cognitive ability. After a three-year struggle, things finally got squared away... Helicopter Association International President, Matt Zuccaro, has issued a "Call to Action" to all U.S. association members on an issue critical to the future of the industry, which is helicopter flight training for military veterans. HAI said on its website that there is a continuing move underway in Congress that would cap the annual dollar amount for GI Bill flight-training benefits. Bell Helicopter’s new 505 Jet Ranger X project reaches a milestone as the European Aviation Safety Agency grants type certification for the Arrius 2R engine, which powers the helicopter. Officially launched at the 2013 Paris Air Show alongside the Bell 505, the Arrius 2R has followed a fast development schedule. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
