Classic Aero-TV: Understanding ADS-B -- The 5 W's of Next-Gen Flight Management

Ric Peri Provides A Solid Overview of the Potential of ADS-B

One of the greatest benefits that we at ANN enjoy, is the nearly unrestricted ability we have to engage in tremendous conversations (and the resultant education) with some of the industry's most expert analysts and advocates.

Near the top of our 'favorites' list is AEA's Ric Peri... who not only understands the importance of virtually all aspects of the avionics future we're trying to adapt to... but does so from a vantage point only blocks away from all the decision-makers in Washington, DC.

Richard (Ric) Peri is the VP of Government and Industry Affairs for the AEA. In this position, Ric is responsible for helping to draft aviation regulations as well as instruct users on the proper interpretation of the regulations and consults with aviation companies worldwide. He actively participates in rulemaking in Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States.

As a certificated mechanic, licensed pilot, operational crewmember and entrepreneur, Ric has over 35 years experience in aviation flight operations, aircraft maintenance, and airport operations and is a technical expert on international aviation maintenance regulations, repair station operations, environmental management, and occupational safety.

Ric is a U. S. Coast Guard veteran, a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and former faculty of the University of Southern California and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
