Yvonne Camus Confirmed As Keynote Speaker For ICAS 2015 Convention

Canadian Adventurer Participated In Eco-Challenge Expedition Race

The keynote address for the 2015 ICAS Convention will be delivered by Yvonne Camus, a Canadian adventurer who participated in and finished the Eco-Challenge expedition race on the South Pacific island of Borneo.

Racing on foot, zipline, bicycle and horseback, in kayaks, canoes and sailboats, through jungles, rivers and ocean waters during a race that covered 325 miles over 11 days, Yvonne and her teammates were one of just 34 teams -- and the only rookie team -- to finish the Borneo race.

A talented and entertaining speaker, Camus will draw on her career as a successful business executive and her experiences in preparing for and competing in the grueling endurance race to discuss teamwork, human achievement and the challenges of living a high performance life.

Camus will speak at 8:30 on the morning of Monday, December 7.

The International Council of Air Shows held its first convention in 1967. Since then, the air show community has gathered every year to exchange ideas, conduct business and begin the process of planning the upcoming air show season. This year, the ICAS Convention will be held December 6, 7, 8 & 9 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
