LEVEL Selects CF6 Engines For Its Airbus A330 Aircraft

Signs 10-Year MRO Agreement

LEVEL placed an order for CF6-80E engines to power its two new Airbus A330 aircraft and signed a 10-year TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the engines. The engine order and TrueChoice agreement are valued at more than $170 million list price and over the life of the service agreement.

"GE Aviation is honored that LEVEL selected the CF6-80E engines for its new aircraft and our TrueChoice Flight Hour agreement for its service support," says Chaker Chahrour, vice president and general manager of Global Sales and Marketing for GE Aviation. "The CF6 engine has an outstanding performance record and will provide the airline with the highest reliability and durability to meet its growing customers' needs."

More than 680 CF6-80E engines have been delivered to 35 operators. The CF6-80E engine incorporate many technology advances, which along with proactive maintenance and operational procedures, have helped to increase the engine's time on wing.

GE's CF6 engines are among the most utilized and reliable in the industry. Powering more than 13 models of widebody aircraft, the engine family has established an unparalleled record of reliability and has compiled more than 430 million flight hours in service with more than 260 customers worldwide.

The TrueChoice suite of engine maintenance offerings incorporates an array of GE capabilities and customization across an engine's lifecycle. All TrueChoice offerings are underpinned by GE Aviation's data and analytic capabilities and experience to help reduce maintenance burden and service disruptions for customers.
