Top Boeing Russia Exec Departs For Sukhoi, Media Says

Kamil Gaynutdinov Becomes President Of Russian Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company

The Russian media is reporting that Kamil Gaynutdinov, the head of Commercial Aviation Services for Boeing in Russia, has been named as the president of Russian Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC).

Sputniknews online relays a report from the newspaper Kommersant that the position became available when SCAC's Ilya Tarasenko moved to take a leadership role at MiG.

Gaynutdinov will be charged with creating an after-sales service system for the Sukhoi Superjet 100, according to the paper. He has been with Boeing's Commercial Aviation Services division since 2005. Prior to going to work for Boeing, he had been an executive at Utair Aviation.
