Aero-TV At Oshkosh 2009: Battle of US Muscle - Fagen's Ethanol MX2 v OCC Chopper

American Chopper Star Races Greg Poe

On July 31st, EAA AirVenture visitors were witness to a thrilling race of-a-lifetime when TLC's American Choppers star Paul Teutul challenged Fagen Inc.'s MX-2.  The aircraft was piloted by Greg Poe of Greg Poe Airshows.

Both vehicles featured in the race were ethanol powered. Fagen Inc., a sponsor of Greg Poe Airshows, makes nearly 2/3rds of all new ethanol gallons coming online in the United States.

Currently, ethanol-enriched fuels account for approxiamately 30% of all fuel sold in the United States, with the U.S. production rate at nearly 6 billion gallons annually.
