Independence Aviation Selects Frasca for Cirrus FTD

Sim Will Sport Actual Entegra Panel, CAPS Simulation

Frasca International told ANN this week the Urbana, IL company recently sold a Cirrus SR22 Flight Training Device (FTD) to Independence Aviation in Englewood, CO. The FTD will feature actual Avidyne Entegra avionics, CAPS (Cirrus Airframe Parachute System) simulation, TruVision visual system and more.

Installation of the advanced sim is scheduled to be completed in May 2007.

Independence Aviation offers aviation instruction, aircraft rental, advanced skills mentoring, aircraft management and pilot services, with emphasis on TAA and high performance single and multi-engine general aviation aircraft. They are located on the field at KAPA.

Frasca International manufactures flight training equipment for airlines, flight schools, Universities and military organizations worldwide. Product range includes Flight Training Devices (FTDs), FNPT I, II and IIMCC devices, CPTs, Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and more for all aircraft types, fixed wing and rotary.

Frasca has delivered three Cirrus devices to date.
