Diamond's Dynamo Adopted At Moncton

Moncton Flight College Selects Diamond Aircraft DA20-C1 Eclipse

When ANN sampled the latest version of Diamond's gutsy little two place DA20 C-1 Eclipse, we were amazed at the "get up and go" the well-mannered little plastic pocket rocket boasted. Apparently; some of North America's most prestigious flight schools agree with that sentiment. For example, Diamond Aircraft has just announced the purchase of six DA20-C1 Eclipse aircraft for the flight training program at Moncton Flight College.

The aircraft will be delivered to the New Brunswick college before the start of the fall semester. Diamond Aircraft and Moncton Flight College view this partnership as the start of a long relationship to further expand quality flight training.

"We are proud to have a flight training partnership with yet another Canadian flight school," said John Gauch, Diamond’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  There are well over 200 of the Teledyne Continental powered two seaters in training use, including with the United States Air Force Academy, United States Naval Academy and flightschools throughout Canada, United States, Australasia and Europe.

Moncton Flight College’s history extends back to 1929.  The college is dedicated to producing aviation professionals ready and qualified for the aviation industry.  The program currently has 110 students.

"The acquisition of new Diamond Aircraft is a significant part of the major expansion we are starting here in Moncton," said Mike Doiron, CEO/Principal of Moncton Flight College. Diamond is a leading aircraft manufacturer offering a full line of flight training and recreational aircraft -- and has been kicking up some MAJOR dust with a series of exciting product announcements that are undoubtedly going to be shaking up the GA market over the next few years.
