Avfuel Adds New Sacramento Mather Jet Center To Network

Independently-Owned & Operated FBO Offers Fuel Alternative

Avfuel announced the addition of the newly opened Mather Jet Center at Sacramento Mather Airport (KHMR) in California, to its network of branded FBO locations. The facility will offer a fuel alternative to the existing fuel choice.

Mather Jet Center was formed by three veteran aviation professionals who partnered on the venture – Victor Cushing, Matt Bosco, and Dan Kimmel. They credited Sacramento County, with whom they worked closely and who supported and cooperated to assist in expanding options for the region’s pilots and operators with an alternate fuel provider at MHR.

Cushing, who is also Founder and President of the airfield’s existing aircraft maintenance leader, Mather Aviation, said, "Mather Jet Center is excited to partner with Avfuel to enhance its industry-leading fuel and service offerings in Northern California. This partnership builds on our companies’ strong reputations, fostering industry connections and driving business growth."

The Mather Jet Center FBO is located within the Mather Aviation maintenance facility. The terminal offers personalized concierge services, comfortable passenger and pilot lounges, and on-site rental cars for convenience.

Mather Jet Center’s full-service offerings provide a seamless experience for guests, with quick turns, detailing, and on-site maintenance and avionics services. The FBO also received a new fleet of Avfuel refueling trucks to provide better efficiency and technology for every load.

Joel Hirst, Senior Vice President of Sales for Avfuel said, “This partnership marks exciting industry growth, and we look forward to expanding our services within the West Coast market,” said "We greatly appreciate this opportunity to partner with Mather Jet Center and look forward to collaborating with its team to support the needs of the general aviation community."
