The Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft has successfully completed additional certification trials in expanded operational conditions for high altitude airports. Extensive ground and flight tests were conducted to evaluate the proper functioning of the aircraft systems, equipment, engines and APU, as well as to confirm the declared takeoff and landing performance. Sukhoi says the report on the additional high altitude trials is being completed, and will be submitted to the Aviation Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee in application for a supplement to the SSJ100 Type Certificate.

In Toluca, the SSJ100 aircraft was shown to the president and management of Interjet Airlines of Mexico, which ordered 15 of the jets in January 2011.  The aircraft came back to airfield of Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, Russia, on October 10.
