Gulfstream Begins G700 Deliveries

Gulftream Begins Deliveries of G700

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced the delivery of the first two G700 aircraft, marking a significant milestone with the rapid customer deployment following its FAA type certification.

Celebrated for introducing the largest cabin in the business aviation industry, the G700 enhances passenger experience with features such as 100% fresh air, minimal noise levels, and natural light from its 20 panoramic oval windows. This luxury jet is not only about comfort but also performance, capable of flying 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and achieving a maximum speed of Mach 0.935, making it the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet.

The G700's entry into service is a testament to Gulfstream's innovation and commitment to advancing aviation technology. "Beginning G700 customer deliveries less than one month after achieving type certification marks an incredible milestone in Gulfstream's history," said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream. He expressed gratitude towards the customers for their confidence in Gulfstream's latest offering and anticipated continuing the momentum with more deliveries worldwide.

This aircraft has already demonstrated its capabilities by setting over 50 city-pair speed records prior to its service entry, underscoring its efficiency and performance. Designed to meet various mission needs, the G700 is poised to become a game changer in the global business aviation landscape.

Gulfstream, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, has a rich history of shaping business aviation since the launch of its first aircraft, the Gulfstream I, in 1958. Today, Gulfstream's diverse fleet includes models like the G280, G650, G650ER, and the new generation G400, G500, G600, G700, and G800, each designed to offer distinct capabilities tailored to customer needs.
