Int'l Skydiving Hall of Fame Celebration Put Off to 2021

Celebration Now Sked for April 22–24, 2021, at Skydive DeLand, DeLand, Florida

Under normal circumstances, it's a heck of a party... Created in 2010, the International Skydiving Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those who, through leadership, innovation and/or accomplishments have defined, promoted, inspired and advanced skydiving at the highest and sustained levels such that they have made it possible for generations of skydivers to enjoy the sport.

The organization's President/CEO, JF Curtis III, has just informed us that the 2020 event is now scheduled for 20121... for the usual reasons... COVID-19.

Curtis notes that, "As you are aware, there continues to be significant restrictions to travel, lodging, and social interactions across the world. While we are hopeful that the situation will improve by Fall, it is impossible for us to know and decisions need to be made to accommodate your travel plans and allow the Celebration Event committee to organize a weekend that will meet and exceed your expectations.

Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the 2020 Hall of Fame Celebration for April 22 – 24, 2021 at Skydive DeLand, DeLand, Florida. We are in the process of finalizing the date change with our Host Hotels – if you have a reservation at one of the hotels through a Museum room block, please check with the hotel after June 15 to see if they have transferred the reservation to the new dates or if you will need to make the change."
