Hartzell Expands Services, Introduces Prop Exchange Program

Updates Aim to Improve Customer Experience and Shorten Downtime

Hartzell Propeller recently announced several new investments in its service offerings that aim to improve and simplify customer experience. These include a new propellor exchange program, an expanded service facility network, and updates to its website.

The Hartzell propeller exchange program allows customers to limit downtime on their aircraft without breaking the bank. The manufacturer uses its inventory of new and overhauled parts to assemble a propeller and ship it directly to a customer. Then, the client ships or gets their old prop picked up and taken back to Hartzell. The Time-Since-New information is collected to grant financial credit for the customer’s returned part.

The program covers several aircraft and propeller types, including the Beech 200 and 300 series, Cessna 208, Cirrus SR22, Baher TMB, Diamond DA-40, Pilatus PC-12, Piper Seminole, and Viking Twin Otter.

The general aviation propeller-maker has also expanded its service facility network to five locations across the US and Canada. On top of the OG Hartzell Service Center in Piqua, Ohio, customers can now use California’s American Propellor Service in Redding, Canadian Propeller in Winnipeg, Texas Aircraft Propeller & Accessories in Pearland, and Tiffin Aire in Tiffin, Ohio.

All of these centers provide “Hartzell-quality” maintenance, overhaul, inspections, and general propeller support.

Another feature of Hartzell’s service upgrade is its redesigned, user-friendly website. It can be used to schedule prop service appointments, track repairs, browse an organized selection of available products, and get a quote for selling parts.

“By enhancing our web-based tools and expanding our service platform, we are able to deliver streamlined scheduling and parts acquisitions, faster response times and more personalized solutions,” stated Hartzell President JJ Frigge.” With a broader range of buying and selling choices, shorter lead times and expanded geographic coverage, we are empowering our customers to seamlessly meet their aviation needs through Hartzell Propeller.”
