NBAA-BACE Adding Small Operator Safety Sessions

Small Operator Symposium in Conjunction With BACE

The NBAA’s Small Operator Symposium is designed to provide small flight department managers with the knowledge and tools to navigate the challenges of managing aviation departments efficiently and safely.

The symposium will be a half-day event in two sessions led by subject matter experts and featuring topics like implementing steps to create additional safety, effective leadership strategies, tailored for the challenges of running a small flight department.

Session one, “Five Simple Steps to a Safe, Small Flight Department” focuses on ways everyone can advance the safety culture of their operation.

Session two, “Leading From Any Seat: Striving for Excellence in Every Role” looks at insights and techniques to help attendees become a more effective and convincing leader regardless of their position or title.

Doug Carr, NBAA Senior Vice President, Safety, Security, Sustainability and International Operations said, “The Small Operator Symposium is intended to energize those who run smaller flight departments and provide them with tools they can take home and put into practice immediately. Attendees will leave this half-day session with the knowledge to help them navigate the intricacies of managing a small flight department.”

Carr continued “At NBAA, safety is at the center of everything we do, and these NBAA-BACE sessions and programs are designed to make operations safer and more secure. These are must-attend sessions for small flight department managers.”
