AEA To Offer Repair Station Training Program Development CD

AEA’s Newest CD ROM Takes The Guesswork Out Of Repair Station Training Program Development

The Aircraft Electronics Association has announced a new member benefit and solution for all repair stations required to submit a Repair Station Training Program per the new FAA guidelines.

AEA’s new interactive CD, Repair Station Training Program Development, available January 1, 2006, prepares repair stations for the 2006 requirements by dissecting and interpreting the requirements in FAA Advisory Circular (AC 145-10) and the Inspectors Handbook Bulletin (HBAW 0503). In addition, the CD ROM includes exclusive access to AEA’s Repair Station Training Program Development Tool; a unique web-based feature that prints your training program for you.

After reviewing the CD, viewers will have a full understanding of needs assessments, course definitions, determining training sources and methods, measuring effectiveness, and documenting training. Repair Station Training Program Development goes above and beyond other products in that it clearly defines what is required per the regulations and further instructs organizations on efficient and cost effective implementation and management of their program.

Over 800 repair stations worldwide have partnered with AEA for the latest in regulatory and technical training. In addition to the new Repair Station Training Program Development, AEA has developed a series of computer–based training programs aimed at improving interpretation and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations. Available free of charge to members, Architecture of an Alteration, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Flight Manual Supplements and Aircraft Wiring Inspections are all available for sale to any aviation organization interested in a better understanding of these regulations and policies that govern aviation business.

AEA Members will receive Repair Station Training Program Development free of charge. Non-member organizations can order a copy by contacting AEA at (816) 373-6565.
