Helicopteres Guimbal Sells 200th Cabri G2

Will Be Delivered To A Distributer In The U.K.

The 200th Cabri G2 to be produced will be delivered to U.K. & Ireland distributor, HeliGroup. It is expected that the aircraft will be a central feature at the British event Heli U.K. Expo, which is being held at Wycombe Air Park on 1-3 June 2017, and will take the U.K. fleet to 28 aircraft.

Helicopteres Guimbal will be hosting an inaugural launch event for S/N 1200 at the factory in Les Milles, France, before it is flown to the U.K. for the show.  

To mark the occasion, S/N 1200 will a unique paint job. Both Helicopteres Guimbal and HeliGroup will be keeping the livery confidential until the unveiling at the inaugural launch event in France mid-May. HeliGroup will be using S/N 1200 to visit a number of the UK Flight Training Organizations in the summer in order to showcase the Cabri G2 as an increasingly popular and successful platform for both private as well as commercial activities.

Additionally, HeliGroup are expecting to place an order for four Cabri G2s for delivery in 2018, demonstrating the confidence the company has in the product and its increasing demand in the UK market. 

HeliGroup are the UK distributors for Helicopteres Guimbal through their investment in European Helicopter Importers Ltd which was previously marketed through Cotswold Helicopter Center.  HeliGroup, who recently opened a training and sales office for the Cabri G2 in the Airbus Helicopters UK facility at London Oxford Airport, is an operator providing helicopter training, charter, management and sales. The company provides solutions for all helicopter requirements and accommodates training for Private and Commercial Pilot Licenses, as well as Flight Instructor and Instrument Ratings. The company fleet includes a new AW109SP Grand New, Airbus AS355s and Cabri G2 helicopters as well as a range of additional types.
