Girls With Wings is hosting an Aviation Inspiration Day at Fleming Field in St Paul, MN, on May 28th. This day-long event is devoted to giving girls the opportunity to explore and create an interest in aviation.

Girls With Wings is working in conjunction with the Commemorative Air Force Museum - Minnesota Wing, Wipaire Inc., EAA Chapter 1229 and the MN Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, and will offer to "girls only" presentations, tours of aircraft, aviation manufacturing and maintenance facilities and a WWII aviation museum. Other aviation organizations involved in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities are encouraged to participate by having a table with their information.

Young Eagle flights will be available. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as the seating is limited to 30 girls for each of the Girls With Wings presentations. Those pre-paying for their registrations will be given priority scheduling for the Young eagles flights immediately following the presentation.

The presentations will be offered in morning and afternoon sessions, with lunch provided by Wipaire.
