LM Commercial Flight Training Celebrates Two Years In Sao Paulo

Ceremony Marks Second Anniversary For Latin American Facility

Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training, formerly Sim-Industries, celebrated two successful years of pilot training during a ceremony yesterday at the company’s Sao Paulo, Brazil training center.

During that time, Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training (LMCFT) has provided more than 25,000 hours of pilot training in the Sao Paulo training center. As the primary partner, GOL Airlines, which transported more than 32 million people in Brazil in 2013, trained more than 1700 pilots at the facility.

“We are dedicated to delivering training technology and services around the globe. Our Sao Paulo facility is the training hub for our Latin American airline customers,” said Joao Dimas, director of Latin America Business Development and Sales for Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training. “With multiple simulators, flat panel devices and classrooms, we are able to provide full spectrum training capabilities around the clock to meet our customers’ needs.”

LMCFT provides a complete suite of commercial aviation training products and services including full flight simulators including the Boeing 737, 767, 777, 787 and Airbus A320, A330/340.
