King Schools and Four Forces announced a collaboration that integrates the Cessna Flight Training System’s Course Tracking Application with Four Forces' Flight School Management Software suite. The integrated software packages eliminate the need for double or triple-entry of flight training data between the flight lesson tracking system and the scheduling and billing systems. The FAA’s MedXpress website has been updated to assist pilots getting ready for the next visit with their AME, or aviation medical examiner, to renew their medical certificate. Hybrid-Electric Aircraft Debuts Ahead of the Paris Air Show

On June 15, sustainable aircraft manufacturer VoltAero unveiled the production configuration of its hybrid-electric Cassio 330. A full-scale mockup will be on display at VoltAero’s Paris Air Show exhibit in Le Bourget, France. The pilot of a small aircraft was intercepted by CF-18 Hornets after flying into a temporary flight restriction (TFR) over the annual G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada. One death, 11 injuries, and an arrest came from a hot air balloon accident on June 15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Authorities claim that the balloon was operating with uncertified equipment and an expired airworthiness certificate. The woman killed was identified as 27-year-old Juliana Alves Prado Pereira.

Purpose Of The Flight Was To Conduct A Test Flight Following The Airplane’s Reassembly And Inspection

On May 25, 2025, about 1007 eastern daylight time, an experimental, amateur-built Zenith STOL CH701, N514JG, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Geneva, Ohio. The pilot was fatally injured and the pilot-rated passenger sustained serious injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 test flight. According to the pilot-rated passenger, who was also the owner of the airplane, he purchased the airplane in October 2024.
