EAA Continues 30th Anniversary Celebration

Young Eagles Credits, Pilot Challenges Round Out Celebrations

With 4 months left in the EAA's 30th Anniversary Young Eagles Celebration, participating members still have enough time to make the most of special promotions, bonuses and awards.

First, the bonus of double the Young Eagles credits ($10 per flight) will continue to be offered through July 31st of this year, allowing chapters and volunteers enough time to obtain them when there's better flying weather available. The EAA hopes that the added bonus will help to foster additional flight activity and chapter rallies.

The "30 Flights for 30 Years" promotion continues, too. Volunteer Young Eagles pilots who fly 30 youths between August 1st of 2022 and July 31st of this year will be granted a commemorative polo shirt. So far, 120 pilots have managed to hit the goal, with 4 months to go.

Finally, the First-Time Young Eagles Pilot Challenge rounds out the last of the 30th, with first-time pilots helping out with the program being entered into a monthly drawing for a Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset.

The gamut of info, milestones, and assistance can be found through the EAA's 30th anniversary Young Eagles hub.
