Zero Gravity Celebrates Discovery’s Flight With Special Pricing

Limited Time Left -- Experience Weightlessness For Less

In honor of Discovery’s return to space, Zero Gravity Corporation is offering reduced pricing for seats on their specially modified 727 aircraft, giving space enthusiasts the opportunity to experience varying degrees of weightlessness.

Through the program, ZERO-G has reduced the prices of any flights booked while Discovery is in orbit by $500 for a single seat, for a total price of $3250.  The company is also offering a $1500 discount for two seats on any flight out of the company’s headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.  The offer is valid on spaces booked until Discovery returns to earth, currently scheduled for August 8th.

“ZERO-G shares the public’s excitement and pride to see Space Shuttle Discovery back in the skies again,” said Noah McMahon, Chief Marketing Officer of Zero Gravity Corporation. “For those visionaries who wonder what it is like to be in space, the ZERO-G Experience offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share in the fun and adventure of weightlessness.”

ZERO-G provides customers a full-day program that offers the fun and exhilaration of weightless flight to the general public. Flyers undergo a brief training session before they board “G-FORCE ONE”, a specially-modified Boeing 727-200.

The parabolic flight path of the aircraft creates different gravity conditions, in which flyers experience gravity on Mars (1/3-gravity); the moon (1/6-gravity); and zero-g space. By offering this “staggered” introduction to weightlessness, ZERO-G has drastically reduced the incidences of motion sickness for their customers.

A veteran astronaut accompanies every flight and shares how the passenger’s flight experiences are similar to actual space travel.  Upon landing, flyers receive their weightless certification, in-flight digital video, framed photograph, and official ZERO-G merchandise.

The special $500 discount for one seat, and $1500 for two on a future flight experience in Fort Lauderdale is only available through ZERO-G’s toll-free number: (888) NO-GRAVITY or (888) 664-7284.
