Adventure Pilot Introduces iFly EFB X7 Aviation Tablet

Android Device Designed Specifically For Aviation

iFly EFB creator Adventure Pilot teamed up with Hugerock, a tablet innovator, in announcing the introduction of the iFly EFB X7 Aviation Tablet, a 7” Android device designed and built specifically for general and military aviation.

At 2,600 NITS, the iFly EFB X7 provides the brightest sunlight-readable display of any tablet on the market combined with durability and app integration for a new cockpit EFB solution. For comparison, most iPads are rated at 500 NITS brightness.

The highlights of the iFly EFB X7 tablet:

  • 2,600 NITS Sunlight-Readable Display:  The X7’s 7″ Full HD display reaches 2,600 nits–easily the brightest tablet on the market, ensuring crystal-clear visibility even under direct sunlight.
  • Aviation Ready:  Essential aviation apps are pre-installed, including iFly EFB and MyFlightBook. A multi purpose mounting bracket and a RAM adapter for installation in any environment are also both included.
  • Rugged & Lightweight Design:  MIL-STD-810G rated, IP68 waterproof/dustproof, shock-resistant to a 1.2 m drop, with GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Android 13, and a 7,000 mAh battery, weighs just over 1 lb.

  • Heat & Cold Resistant for Real-World Flight Conditions:  Engineered to operate flawlessly from extreme heat to sub-freezing cold, with no surprise shutdowns in hot cockpits or freezing hangars.
  • Affordable:  Priced at $599 with a free 30-day iFly EFB trial.

Juanita Boyd, Vice President of Operations at Adventure Pilot said, “We’re excited to offer pilots a new bright and durable cockpit-optimized tablet without the premium price. The X7 combines unmatched screen brightness and rugged reliability with full access to the iFly EFB experience-exactly what our customers have been asking for.”

Pre-orders for the iFly EFB X7 Aviation Tablet will be taken beginning July 18 at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 at Wittman Regional Airport (OSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. General shipping will begin Q3 2025.
