Eurocopter Names Chief Technical Officer And Head Of Engineering

Jean-Brice Dumont Appointed To the Leadership Role

Jean-Brice Dumont has been named within the Eurocopter Group as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Head of Engineering.

In this function, he will be reporting directly to Eurocopter CEO Lutz Bertling and will be a member of the Eurocopter Executive Committee. Mr Dumont (pictured) succeeds Jean-Michel Billig, Eurocopter Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and  Head of Engineering, who will leave the company mid-year.

After having begun his career in the French Ministry of Defense (DGA) holding several positions in the Tiger program, Jean-Brice Dumont, who is 40, has joined Eurocopter as Offer Manager and Development Project Manager for the NH90. He was then the NH90 Chief Engineer and NHI Technical Director and more recently the Head of the EC225 program.

Jean-Brice Dumont is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique Engineering School and of the National School of Aeronautic and Space (ENSAE).
