ParaZero DefendAir 100% Successful In Anti-Drone Demo

System Intercepts All Threats In Live Scenario

Israeli aerospace company ParaZero Technologies announced the successful completion of a live demo of its DefendAir Personal Net Gun System to Israeli security and defense professionals. During the live field exercise the DefendAir demonstrated 100% interception success in effectively neutralizing every fast-incoming multirotor drone threat in real-time.

The demonstration was attended by 25 senior officers and experts from tactical units and critical infrastructure defense entities representing top-level Israeli national security sectors including site protection and strategic defense planning.

During the session, a deep discussion covered the evolving threat of drone incursions, the limitations of existing solutions, and the emerging need for multiple layers of defense. This is particularly true with passive, non-transmitting drones that are unable to be intercepted by traditional RF-based methods including fiber-optic guided drones.

The live field demonstration of the DefendAir Personal Net Gun system highlighted its ability to quickly neutralize fast-approaching multirotor drones simulating a real-time threat scenario.

The demonstration generated much positive feedback and strong interest among attendees. Videos of the system show one individual on the ground launching a spiderweb-like net into the path of an oncoming drone to completely immobilize it and bring it to the ground.

The company also has a drone-mounted net system to pursue targets at altitude and high speed to immobilize the threat.

Yuval Gilad, Chief Product Officer at ParaZero said, “DefendAir offers a unique and reliable solution for last layer drone defense, especially in scenarios where RF jamming or hard kill interception is ineffective, hazardous, or prohibited, e.g. due to proximity to sensitive facilities, such as airports. The successful demonstration validated our system’s accuracy, effectiveness, and operational flexibility in complex or urban environments.”
