FAA Determines Pilot Not Distracted By Skydiving Sex Stunt

No FARs Were Violated During Video Filming

The FAA has determined that no FARs were broken when a skydiving instructor who is also a porn star and a receptionist for the California skydiving operator ... his former employer ... made a video of themselves engaged in what can best be described as "adult activities" before and during a jump.

The instructor, Alex Torres, was fired by Skydive Taft owner David Crouch. The receptionist still has her job, but Crouch has not yet determined if she'll be allowed to keep it.

In the video, Torres and the woman are shown having sex in the plane, and continuing the act during the jump in a tandem harness. The video had been posted on Torres blog, but it was removed shortly after. It has, however, appeared elsewhere on the Internet.

The FAA had been asked to determine if any FARs regarding distraction of a pilot had been violated by the couple, but spokesman Ian Gregor said late last week that the agency had concluded no rules had been broken, according to multiple media sources including television station KNSD. The pilot had told the FAA during an interview that he was not distracted and that the couple coupling did not interfere with his duties as PIC.
