Houston Man Arrested In Airport Theft

Allegedly Stole $250,000 In Equipment From Conroe, TX Airport

The theft of some $250,000 in avionics from an airport near Houston, TX has led to the arrest of 21-year-old Hugo Edmundo Rincon Urrea.

Urrea allegedly stole avionics from inside aircraft at Lone Star Executive Airport (KCXO) north of Houston, according to police. The McClatchy news service relays a report from The Houston Chronicle which said that employees first noticed the thefts on Monday morning, and notified authorities. Officers following up on initial leads found the suspect in Katy, TX later that morning.

Urrea was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County, TX jail. Bond was set at $100,000.
