Gulfstream Promotes Shannon Taylor Iwanski

New Position is Director Of Initial Phase Procurement

Gulfstream Aerospace has promoted Shannon Taylor Iwanski (pictured, right) to director, Initial Phase Procurement. In that position, Iwanski reports to Bill Williams, vice president, Supply Chain Initial and Final Phase.

Iwanski was the senior manager of Advanced Procurement for the ultra-long-range, ultra-large-cabin Gulfstream G650.  Before that, she was the senior manager, G450/G550 Power plant, Avionics and Major Structures.  Iwanski has held numerous positions within Gulfstream's purchasing organization, including senior procurement project manager.

Before joining Gulfstream in 1997, she worked as a sales and marketing representative at New Sulzer Diesel in Savannah. She earned a bachelor's degree in general business and a master's of business administration from Georgia Southern University. 

She has been an active member of Gulfstream's chapter of the National Management Association for the past 13 years, where she has served in various leadership positions, most recently as chairman of the board of directors.
