Lakeland Florida's Family Owned PSA Enterprises

Keeping The Fleet Flying For Over 44 Years

By Anthony J. Liberatore

The sister team of Mary James and Elizabeth Perigo are not only a Women/Family owned small business in the aviation space, but they sell products that many of us take for granted.

Started by their Dad, Bob, in 1977; Mary and Elizabeth have taken over the helm of this Lakeland Florida enterprise. PSA's is a distributor specializing in the sale of replacement parts for the certified aircraft that can be used by homebuilts as well. Mary noted that their client base has reached beyond Gen-Av, as they have major customers in the auto racing arena in need of aviation grade fasteners for their demanding applications.

In their booth, was an array of stainless steel screws used for inspection plates, compass replacement fluid, Viton seals, replacement placards, and gaskets and that was not all. To think of all the parts that make up a Gen-Av aircraft, there are so many we take for granted or we might consider "smalls."

However, when you need them, they are critical and are a 'must have.' Looking at PSA's catalog, they carry a great deal of these "must have's." They do not manufacture their components, however, they do have specific parts manufactured for them. In particular are Experimental non-PMA'd lights.

On the Certified side they have door seals, window seals, lenses, and landing gear strut rebuilding kits (Cessna, Piper, and working on kits for Mooney's and others) manufactured for them. PSA's parts catalog is on line at: www.psaenterprises.com. They are currently taking orders via mail order, phone, fax, and e-mail. Mary noted they are in the process of developing a website that will allow customers to order on line.
