Fifth Annual 'Roar n' Soar' This Weekend

Fantasy Of Flight Features Planes, Boats & Cars

Fantasy of Flight, an attraction in Central Florida based on the extensive and meticulously restored aircraft collection of Kermit Weeks, has announced its Fifth Annual Roar n' Soar, described as a signature two-day racing extravaganza showcasing the finest classic racing machines ever built for land, sea or air.

The All-American-themed, family event includes aerial demonstrations including precision flights featuring a Grumman Duck, a P51-C and a T-6 Texan. Also featured are classic car slalom competitions, exhibition fly-bys from sleek vintage race boats, an aerial "dog fight" by powered paragliders, and a sports showcase featuring skilled motocross riders. There's also a classic boat show and regatta, and classic car show for those seeking something a little tamer.

Special "Kid's Crew" children's activities are offered as part of the event. Kids can try their hand at flying their own hot air balloons and hang gliding simulators in Fantasy of Flight's "Fun with Flight."

Roar n' Soar will be held this Saturday and Sunday from 1000 to 1700 EST, with gates open at 0900. Fantasy of Flight is located midway between Orlando and Tampa. Guests can save by receiving one free child's admission for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 with each paid adult ticket.
