Includes 15 IFR-Ready Bell 407GXis With Option For Additional 12

Bell Textron announced at this week’s VAI Verticon 2025 that Air methods signed a purchase agreement for up to 27 helicopters including 15 IFR-configured Bell 407GXis with an option to purchase an additional 12 in the future. This deal follows a recently-signed deal for a Bell 429.

Air Methods transports over 100,000 patients per year operating from 300 bases in 48 states and racking up over 150,000 flight hours. The company says this purchase will help decrease response times and allow them to better serve their communities.

The Bell 429 gives our clinical team the cabin capacity necessary to provide industry leading specialty care to our patients while also being very reliable.”

The Bell 407 GXi is a workhorse platform for air medical agencies worldwide. It is IFR capable and has an adjustable cabin space to perform in all environments while carrying a variety of essential medical equipment needed for patient care and emergency missions.
