New FPV Micro-Drone Coming Soon

Blade Introduces The Inductrix FPV

While the market for drones continues to grow, it seems like many of the actual aircraft are getting smaller. Such is the case with the Blade Inductrix FPV, which will be available soon from Horizon Hobby.

The website RCGroups.com reports that the quadcopter has beefed up motors driving four ducted fans and will be available in both kit and ready-to-fly versions.

According to the Horizon Hobby website, the aircraft is equipped with a pre-installed 25mW micro FPV system and a 4.3 inch FPV external monitor which can easily be upgraded to FPV goggles.  Durable rotor housings inherently prevent damage whether it’s bumped into walls or falls into the grass. LED orientation lights and a sleek body design help keep you going in the right direction. Innovative SAFE technology with self-leveling makes staying in control easy, even on the first flight.

SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology is a revolutionary electronic flight envelope protection system. This intuitive technology enables consistently smooth flight and battles windy conditions in multiple modes.

The RTF version will retail for $199, but you can save $100 if you want to build it yourself.
