Why Construction Workers Wear Hard Hats

MD-11 Makes a Lot of Wind

An unidentified construction worker was blown over and seriously injured Monday at 2:28PM, as he worked at the north end of DFW's Rwy 18R. The runway was closed until 2:50.

The Parker Construction worker's injuries required a trip to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas; they were reported to not be life-threatening.
