CPS Announces New Super Mr. Funnel II

F-15 fuel filter funnel has improved flow rate and many more features

Available from California Power Systems is the all-new Super Mr. Funnel II Model F-15 Fuel Filter Funnel with an exceptionally high flow rate of 12 to 15 gallons per minute, twice the flow of any other model.

The Mr. Funnel is a unique heavy-duty fuel management tool that is lightweight, portable, self-cleaning and manufactured out of a heavy duty industrial standard conductive polypropylene.

It is designed to meet and exceed marine and aviation standards and is the only portable conductive fuel filter in the world with an exceptionally high flow rate of 12 to 15 gallons per minute. In comparison, most commercial pumps are limited to 10 gallons per minute.

Although the F-15 model is just being introduced, based on the performance of its forerunners, the F-3 and F-8 fuel filter funnels we anticipate a minimum life span of 10 years.

The funnel is maintenance free, has no replacement parts and comes equipped with dual 127-micron Teflon-coated stainless steel fuel filters. When properly used, these filters will virtually eliminate contaminated fuel going into your tanks.

The downspout of the F-15 is the same size as one-inch PVC pipe, which can be added to reach any fuel tank. In-line on/off valves can also be installed for more control. If PVC pipe is used, a bonding wire should be attached from the funnel to the filler neck of the fuel tank to control static problems.

CPS has also added a pour spout on the top side of the funnel so you can easily pour the fuel and contamination captured in the funnel's sump into seperate containers when you are done refueling. If no contamination is found in the sump, the remaining fuel can easily be poured into the tank.

The water separation features of the Mr. Funnel have long been recognized as the best way to eliminate water from fuel. The F-15 allows you to filter out the solids down to .005 inch and inspect for free water while you refuel. Dirt and water in fuel tanks can cause microbial growth, corrosive acids, electrolysis and rust. These contaminants can restrict flow, plug filters, corrode fittings, decrease energy level of fuel, cause engine damage and system failure.

The funnel also works with diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene and other light petroleum distillates.  It measures 10 inches long by 8.5 inches round and retails for $59.95
