It's Official: All Nippon To Buy $6 Billion Worth Of 7E7s

Dreamliners Will Replace Airline's 767s

Boeing 7E7 launch partner All Nippon Airlines has firmed up its order for 50 7E7s, spelling out the variations it plans to buy and the aircraft they'll replace.

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports All Nippon will purchase 30 7E7-3s and 20 of the longer 7E7-8s.

The 3-models will seat 289 passengers and have a range of about 4,000 miles, while the 8-models will seat 217 and fly 9,800 miles.

Production on the 7E7 is slated to begin in 2006. A stretch model of the Dreamliner is due for production in 2012.
