Avjet Offers Free Services To Neighbors Hurt By 'Snowpocalypse' Damage

Dulles Jet Center Tenants Affected by Recent Roof Collapse at No Charge

Avjet Corporation recently announced that it would waive all brokerage fees to assist the companies and individuals affected by the Dulles Jet Center roof collapse on February 6, 2010. The offer to waive its professional acquisition fees was communicated last week by Avjet to all the affected aircraft owners and represents hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential savings for owners.

The full extent of the roof’s collapse is still being investigated; but it is clear that numerous aircraft inside the hangar suffered irreparable damage after snow accumulation caused the roof of the facility to collapse on top of them. The aircraft ranged in size from small jets to large cabin Gulfstream and Global Express aircraft.

"Our unparalleled expertise in the Gulfstream and Global Express market uniquely positions us to be helpful at a time like this," said Andrew C. Bradley, Avjet’s Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Acquisitions.

"Ever since the global economic crisis took hold in late 2008, the aviation community has shown that it can come together in times of need. In a similar spirit of collaboration, Avjet is glad to extend its professional services at no charge to the companies and individuals impacted by this unexpected turn of events."

Even while Avjet makes this unprecedented offer to the affected aircraft owners, its own offices in Dulles Jet Center were severely damaged. "Since the incident, our entire East Coast team been working remotely until we can get back into the office, but our first priority is helping our neighbors in the facility get back in the air," said Bradley.

Avjet is also making its extensive charter fleet available for aircraft owners who require an interim solution to their corporate travel needs. With one of the largest, most modern Gulfstream, Global Express and BBJ fleets in the world, Avjet is able to facilitate a competitively priced, seamless solution for travelers requiring large-cabin, private air transportation.
