FAA Awards STC To DAC International

Approves Installation Of LCR-100 AHRS In Citation 560 EXCEL/XLS Aircraft

The FAA has awarded an STC to DAC International, a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings, for the installation of its LCR-100 AHRS aboard Citation 560 EXCEL/XLS Aircraft.

The LCR-100 selected is a Gyro-compassing, north finding unit, employing state of the art Fiber Optic Gyro technology.  The LCR-100 blends inertial and satellite data to provide a hybrid navigation output.  The product is widely used on both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

The LCR-100 was designed as a drop-in replacement for the LCR-93, which means very minimal downtime and modifications to the aircraft to perform this installation. .

“We’re really excited to be able to now offer this STC to our customers worldwide. This STC allows units to be exchanged separately or at the same time thus making it much easier for the operators to incorporate” said Cisco Hernandez, President of DAC International.
