Kissimmee Airport’s 2nd Annual Food Truck Fly-In September 14

Aviation Action Plus Gourmet Delights Equals Fun Day!

The Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM) is holding its 2nd Annual Food Truck Fly-In on Saturday September 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 401 Dyer Blvd in Kissimmee, Florida, promising a foodie-focused fun day of aviation adventure combined with delicious culinary offerings.

The airport is partnering with the Latino Pilots Association (LPA) to present a variety of aircraft including those used for flight training. Visitors will be able to explore the airplanes and talk with  pilots about the airplanes as well as get information on aviation and other career opportunities from businesses exhibiting at the event. Multiple food trucks will be available with a wide variety of offerings to please any culinary palate from gourmet to international cuisine.

There will be family activities as well, and the Toho Water Authority will be there with their mascot “Hydro” along with a hydration station. The Kissimmee Utility Authority will have its “Sun Catcher” solar power display to learn about their sustainability initiatives. Helicopter rides will be available from MaxFlight Helicopters.

Parking will be available along MLK Jr. Blvd near the airport. Support for the event is through its sponsors who include GoJets Airlines, Experience Kissimmee, Toho Water Authority, Kissimmee Utility Authority, and the Latino Pilots Association.
