NBAA Cancels Scheduled Events Through July 1, 2020

Decision Taken In Consultation With U.S. And Global Public Health And Aviation Safety Experts

The NBAA is canceling all of its scheduled events and meetings through July 1, as the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues its global spread.

The decision, taken in consultation with U.S. and global public health and aviation safety experts, places the highest priority on the health, safety and security of NBAA event partners, participants and attendees. Specifically, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) yesterday provided guidance that event organizers should postpone their plans. Review the CDC’s guidance.

"As with all NBAA events, we view the health, safety and security of our partners, members and participants as our foremost concern, and it will remain our guiding principle," said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen (pictured). "We are working to explore opportunities to provide a virtual platform to share some of the valuable content from those gatherings, and we will provide details as soon as they are available.”

NBAA will continue to closely monitor the situation as it unfolds, and will rely on guidance from several authorities, including the World Health Organization, the CDC and other public health and aviation-safety experts.

“We will keep members and partners apprised with regard to how this challenging and evolving situation impacts our industry,” Bolen said.
