Classic Aero-TV: Big, Bright and Beautiful -– MGL iEFIS Challenger 10.4” Display

MGL's Stunning Glass Panel Displays Keep Evolving

EAA AirVenture 2013 had lots to look at, and ANN’s CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Jim Campbell couldn’t pass up the MGL display.

He talked with MGL’s Matt Liknaitzky to learn more about the MGL line of electronic instrumentation. The big deal this year is the new 10.4 inch iEFIS that features “push screen” functions, not to be confused with “touch screen.” You’ll have to watch the video to see what this is all about.

Jim asks about support for the homebuilder and finds out that the MGL offers some very special features. The display on the iEFIS can be arranged in custom layouts and organization clusters. Engine, navigation, and flight instrument data display arrangement is the choice of the customer, and better yet, the built in menu allows the pilot to make all the changes.

Jim also takes a peek at MGL’s new remote mounted communication radio and gets a preview of new stuff in the works.
