Gipps Airvan Goes Executive

New Interior Introduced At Sun 'n Fun

When most people think of the Gipps GA8 Airvan, the image the get is of an airplane designed to be a blue-collar working machine. The Airvan is often seen at unimproved airstrips being loaded with cargo bound for a remote destination.

Mahindra Aerospace may be looking to change that reputation, at least somewhat. At Sun n' Fun Wednesday, the company introduced a new executive interior for the GA8. "It was designed to bring a higher level of personal style and comfort without losing sight of the aircraft's ruggedness," said Karen Neilson, Design/Customer Service Director for Eagle Aviation. "We know Airvan owners will be carrying everything from skis and dogs in the cabin. As such, the design and material selection ensures the Executive interior can withstand the demands of utility operation without requiring a great deal of maintenance."

"We gave EatleAviation a blank slate with this project," said Earle Boyter, Director of Business Development, Americas, GippsAero/Mahindra Aerospace. The G8 Airvan with the new Executive interior is truly the best-of-all-worlds solution for owners and carter operators who want style without compromising the utility and low-maintenance benefits of the Airvan.
