Passengers Complain Of Fumes In Southwest Cabin

No Noxious Odors Found After Plane Emptied

There were some fretful moments Tuesday morning for passengers onboard a stinky Southwest Airlines flight from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas.

That's not hyperbole... the Associated Press reports some of the 139 passengers onboard the Boeing 737 complained of noxious fumes in the cabin while the plane was enroute to McCarren International Airport.

Emergency crews met Flight 601 at the gate... and once the passengers were let off the plane, they scoured the jet, looking for the source of the smell.

Those crews didn't smell anything unusual, however.

"There were complaints about fumes in the cabin," airport spokeswoman Elaine Sanchez told the AP. "The plane landed safely. Those who responded didn't find anything to worry about."
